I am really enjoying Patrick’s book. It certainly does entertain, with light hearted and amusing tales of Admiral Clanky and his incredibly colourful life in the Royal Navy. Patrick hates ‘BLAND’ and this truly shows in his writing; so why not pop into Beaton’s in Tisbury and pick up a copy – I simply cannot put it down and I would be very, very interested in your thoughts and comments.
Over a year ago I started reading the first copy of Admiral Clanky Entertains, from emailed pages Patrick had kindly sent to my wife. Sadly many pages were lost before they reached my computer, so I only managed to read less than a quarter of the book first time around, but it helped cheer me up a huge amount during a bout of unplanned illness. Only recently have I been able to focus (quite literally) and engage in a flippin’ good read once again and ‘Clanky’ is, without any doubt, that!
It will more than ‘Tickle Your Fancy’ . . . . . Enjoy
